3 scientists share 2019 Nobel Prize in chemistry for the development of Lithium Battery

Information of the laureates are displayed at the announcement of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm, Sweden, Oct. 9, 2019. The 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry is awarded to three scientists, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced on Wednesday. The 2019 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded to John B. Goodenough, M. Stanley Whittingham and Akira Yoshino "for the development of lithium-ion batteries."
